I took a lot of art classes in high school and was an art major in college. After a 40-year break from painting, in 2020 I started painting again. In those 40 years, I worked in catalog photography studios, had my own commercial photography studio, started a new career in computer graphics in 1991 and have been a freelance digital illustrator for the past 27 years, working on advertising illustration, graphics production for two museums, textbook illustrations, retail visualization and corporate communications. I have retired from that work except for retail visualizations.
